Vay Tiền Trả Góp 24 Tháng. Translation byDr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran By the dawn, وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍۙ Wa layālin asyrin. and the ten nights, وَّالشَّفْعِ وَالْوَتْرِۙ Wasy-syafi wal-watri. and the even and the odd, Wal-laili iżā yasri. and the night when it passes! Hal fī żālika qasamul liżī ḥijrin. Is all this ˹not˺ a sufficient oath for those who have sense? Alam tara kaifa faala rabbuka biādin. Did you not see how your Lord dealt with ’Ȃd— اِرَمَ ذَاتِ الْعِمَادِۖ Irama żātil-imādi. ˹the people˺ of Iram—with ˹their˺ great stature, Allatī lam yukhlaq miṡluhā fil-bilādi. unmatched in any other land; Wa ṡamūdal-lażīna jābuṣ-ṣakhra bil-wādi. and Thamûd who carved ˹their homes into˺ the rocks in the ˹Stone˺ Valley; Wa firauna żil-autādi. and the Pharaoh of mighty structures? Allażīna ṭagau fil-bilādi. They all transgressed throughout the land, Fa akṡarū fīhal-fasāda. spreading much corruption there. Fa ṣabba alaihim rabbuka sauṭa ażābin. So your Lord unleashed on them a scourge of punishment. Inna rabbaka labil-mirṣādi. ˹For˺ your Lord is truly vigilant. Now, whenever a human being is tested by their Lord through ˹His˺ generosity and blessings, they boast, “My Lord has ˹deservedly˺ honoured me!” But when He tests them by limiting their provision, they protest, “My Lord has ˹undeservedly˺ humiliated me!” Kallā bal lā tukrimūnal-yatīma. Absolutely not! In fact, you are not ˹even˺ gracious to the orphan, Wa lā taḥāḍḍūna alā ṭaāmil-miskīni. nor do you urge one another to feed the poor. Wa ta'kulūnat-turāṡa aklal lammān. And you devour ˹others’˺ inheritance greedily, وَّتُحِبُّوْنَ الْمَالَ حُبًّا جَمًّاۗ Wa tuḥibbūnal-māla ḥubban jammān. and love wealth fervently. Kallā iżā dukkatil-arḍu dakkan dakkān. Enough! When the earth is entirely crushed over and over, Wa jā'a rabbuka wal-malaku ṣaffan ṣaffān. and your Lord comes ˹to judge˺ with angels, rank upon rank, وَجِايْۤءَ يَوْمَىِٕذٍۢ بِجَهَنَّمَۙ يَوْمَىِٕذٍ يَّتَذَكَّرُ الْاِنْسَانُ وَاَنّٰى لَهُ الذِّكْرٰىۗ Wa jī'a yauma'iżim bijahannama, yauma'iżiy yatażakkarul-insānu wa annā lahuż-żikrā. and Hell is brought forth on that Day—this is when every ˹disbelieving˺ person will remember ˹their own sins˺. But what is the use of remembering then? Yaqūlu yā laitanī qaddamtu liḥayātī. They will cry, “I wish I had sent forth ˹something good˺ for my ˹true˺ life.” Fa yauma'iżil lā yuażżibu ażābahū aḥadun. On that Day He will punish ˹them˺ severely, like no other, Wa lā yūṡiqu waṡāqahū aḥadun. and bind ˹them˺ tightly, like no other. Yā ayyatuhan-nafsul-muṭma'innahtu. ˹Allah will say to the righteous,˺ “O tranquil soul! Irjiī ilā rabbiki rāḍiyatam marḍiyyahtan. Return to your Lord, well pleased ˹with Him˺ and well pleasing ˹to Him˺. Fadkhuli fī ibādī.
